What Does the
D1+E Licence Allow?

A D1+E licence allows the holder to drive a minibus of up to 16 passenger seats and 8 metres in length, while towing a trailer over 750kg authorised mass.

You must already hold a Category D1 licence before applying for D1+E entitlement. With a DQC card, D1+E holders can operate these vehicles commercially — making it the complete passenger transport qualification.

Prerequisite: D1 Licence Required

You must hold a full Category D1 (minibus) licence before applying for D1+E entitlement. If you don't yet hold D1, our team can map out the full training pathway from D1 through to D1+E.
