What Does the Category C Licence Allow?

A Category C licence permits the holder to drive rigid lorries and goods vehicles with a gross weight over 7,500kg. It is the standard qualification for roles in logistics, distribution, retail delivery, and specialist haulage — and is the essential stepping stone for drivers looking to progress to a full Category C+E licence in Northern Ireland.
